Gena’s passion for Real Estate started in 2007, although it was not until 2015 that she became a licensed agent. Gena quickly knew she had found her favorite job!Gena has worked with people for her entire adult life in one career or another. She has held a cosmetology license for 35 years and owned a few salons, so working with people was second nature. She has been pleasantly surprised as to the similarities of the two. Salon work has a sort of intimacy she would not have expected to be so closely related to home sales. Gena loves the connection she forms with all her clients. She knows that is the reason she finds this career so rewarding, having a buyer say, “This is the one!” is the best feeling for Gena.Selling homes is so rewarding as well, knowing that her seller is at ease with handing over the keys to their homes to the new owner is a great feeling. Gena understands that her home has seen you at your best and at your worst, which is has been the holder of memories. Moving is a high stress and super excitement!Gena is now a Managing Broker and Owner, constantly keeping up with the new laws, advertising genres and social media. She strives to offer the best version of herself to serve clients, while staying true to my small-town values. She loves Lewis County and the Mountains and Lakes! Gena lives for the camaraderie of the families who appreciate the land, the privacy and seclusion of this beautiful area.Gena uses the natural resources of their area on her days off. She is active is the equine community and supports many of the local festivals. Her husband and sons are avid hunters, fishermen, skiers and hikers. Gena loves their small schools and try to support them as often as possible. Gena feels growing up there has been such a blessing, almost a great as raising her sons are.
