Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Janie visited Boca Grande many times before she and her husband became homeowners in 2012. Janie's extensive background in teaching demonstrates her passion and dedication to the success of others. Certified in Early Childhood Development, she taught pre-school in her former home state of Maryland for nine years. She also served on the Board of Directors for Roland Park Country School for 13 years where she was awarded “The McCauley Bowl” in recognition of her outstanding service and commitment. Janie now brings these highly regarded qualities to her career as a Realtor. An accomplished business-woman, in 2005 Janie opened a ladies shoe boutique, successfully owning and operating it for several years before making the transition to real estate full time. Janie continues to meet and exceed customer expectations as she proudly focuses on assisting homebuyers and sellers achieve their goals. Janie's family resides in Maryland. An active part of her community, Janie serves on the Boca Grande Club's Marina Village Homeowners Board of Directors. She also represents her MSC Boca Grande office on The Advisory Council for the MSC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to various forms of charitable outreach in Southwest Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, boating, cooking and reading.
