Nourmand & Associates - Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills
In March of 2015, Edward joined Nourmand & Associates in Beverly Hills after 13 successful years working in the Global Luxury Division of Coldwell Banker’s #1 office in the world, their Beverly Hills North office. However, the opportunity to become part of and work within a privately owned boutique brokerage, with the respect and cache of the Nourmand name, was the logical next step to round out his extensive real estate and business background. About 90% of Edward’s clientele are referrals and repeat business. His clients remain extremely loyal because he offers a high level of service and advocacy that few agents care to deliver. Many clients have completed three or more transactions with him; a few completed a half dozen or more. Having said that, he is eager to create new relationships with clients that are serious about buying or selling a home at any level. He often refers to futurist Alvin Toffler’s 1980 book, “The Third Wave.” Toffler rightly predicted the technological revolution currently upon us. He called it the “High Tech” world, and it has transformed our business for the better. But, he also warned that technology needs to be balanced with “High Touch,” skills which are the basis of Edward’s business model. It is a level of service and support which is very personal and highly customized. “We all know that technology is indispensable in any transaction, but I feel having a real person with 30+ years of negotiating experience navigating your journey through escrow to be key,” Edward says.Prior to selling real estate, Edward worked in Broadcast Sales Management for 16 years, most recently as Director of Sales where he was responsible for supervising a staff of sixty. This management experience provides the tools he uses to solve and find creative solutions to challenges that may arise during a transaction.Edward’s business spans from the Hollywood Hills, Sunset Strip, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills, Westwood, Brentwood, Century City, Culver City, the Palisades, Santa Monica, and into Encino, Sherman Oaks and beyond.Although raised in suburbs of Philadelphia and New York, Edward has lived and jogged for 41 years in his adopted neighborhood of Brentwood. He graduated from Arizona State University where he received a degree in Broadcasting and Theater. He still keeps his interests alive as a founding member of the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica.
