It was 2020 when COVID-19 was hitting the nation hard. It was a scary and extraordinary time. When Roberts got the news that he was going to be laid off, he thought he would be scared or upset. Instead, he felt an overwhelming sense of relief. He had been working a 9-5 job for so much of his life, he hadn’t realized until that moment how much it was draining him physically and emotionally. He knew right then that he had to get out of the corporate world. He has always been an extremely motivated and driven person. If he wanted something, he would make it happen. After high school, he was working in a restaurant and didn’t really have a plan for what was next for him. Robert remembers watching a movie and learning that the Space Needle had a restaurant at the top of it. He moved to Washington state and lived there for a while. He never ended up working at the Space Needle restaurant, but he was happy to be doing something on his own. When his kids were younger, he remembers working three jobs just to provide for his family. He had a full-time job during the day at a news station and spent his evenings working at restaurants. It was hard being away from his kids, but he knew it was what he had to do at the time to make ends meet. He is always willing to do whatever it takes to keep moving forward in life. After some time, Robert moved back to Arizona and was fortunate enough to befriend his landlord who also happened to live next door to him. His vision and drive really inspired him. In 2012, he encouraged him to get his REALTOR® license. Up until 2020, he was a part-time REALTOR® growing his business while working other jobs. He’s grateful he saw his potential as a REALTOR® and encouraged him to pursue it.Robert had an open door to focus his full attention on real estate. Now, he gets to spend every day working for himself and building a business he is truly passionate about. Starting out, he was blessed enough to be able to buy foreclosure properties for himself and learned to flip them. Rehabilitating properties filled his heart because he was able to provide homes for those in desperate need due to lack of inventory in the Phoenix market. All the while, he was creating his own opportunities rather than waiting to find them. He loves helping each of his clients find the right opportunities to achieve their dreams. As a REALTOR®, Robert knows how important of a decision this is for his clients, and he gets to help guide them through the process with his full support and industry knowledge. He chose this path because he knew being a REALTOR® is a career he is truly passionate about unlike any other. Now, he works more than he ever has, but the gratification of helping his clients makes it all worth it. In his free time, he enjoys being with his four kids, being an active member of Christ’s Church of the Valley, camping, golfing, hunting and cooking. Whether you are buying or selling, he can help you achieve your goals and guide you through the entire process. As a licensed REALTOR® since 2012, Robert has the industry knowledge to maximize the return on your sale and to ensure your offer is accepted on your new home. His clients have his full attention and time as we work together to make their goals a reality. When Robert started out as a full-time REALTOR®, he flipped houses and created his own listings. His drive and determination for success have proven to bring his clients the results they are looking for. He gets to know you so that he can understand your goals, then he walks you through every step of the process to achieve them. Once the transaction is over, he will continue to support your success as your lifelong REALTOR®.
